Hi all,
I think I will take the plunge and buy the 2011 ecu to fix the throttle snatch issue on my 06. I know people use the FCE. I tried and it didn't work so I don't have much faith in it especially when I see people talking about there FCE failing after a while. No offence to Ivan as that's a great invention.
Not sure whether there is any difference between 2011 and 2012 ecu as they share the same part number. Now because I'm from australia, we have the ignition immobilizer which means I have to replace the ingnition lock too.. I curious though, the dealer sells the ignition and blank key as well. How will that work? Will the key fit straight away or do I have to get it professionally cut when the parts arrive? I hope it's not the case as it's an extra expense.
