The Scariest Bike

2000 Muzzy big bore ZX9R. I bought it at the prostars drag race in Gainesville, FL from Rob Muzzy himself. It made 163 hp to the rear wheel with stock cams. It would wheelie on the 2-3 shift at 110mph with my 250lbs on it. It was awesome, nothing could keep up with it in 2000 not even the new, at the time, Gixxer 1000. I really miss that thing, wish I had never sold it.

I worked at a Yamaha shop & got lucky one week. A guy came in with his V-MAX & went hog wild on aftermarket parts. When the service manager gave me the work slip I about shit myself. I was really happy because every bike we worked on, we had to ride. Oh DARN!

I did a mild port job, installed web cams, Dynojet kit, K&N filter, Stortz drive shaft, NOS kit, new tires. & some other stuff I can't remember.

Anyway after we got the NOS all set up, I had to ride it. At 90 mph I shifted down into 3rd gear & lit the rear tire up. I about shit myself again. Then I hit 4th gear & hit the NOS button. The tire lit up again. Then I went for 5th & hit the button again. I glanced down & I was at 190mph or so. I have never been on a bike that would do such things again. The crazy part was I had no helmet on.
I was not so smart when I was 20 but I had a great time being really scared.

A stock Vmax is pretty awesome stock. I love the V boost that they have. V boost is a butterfly valve that's between each set of carbs & at 7000 rpm it opens up & now you have two carb's per cylinder. If your not ready for it, it can be devastating.

Keep it in a wheelie, Jim

Holy Crap! Now that's a scary bike story!

2 years ago i bought a Gsxr 1000 k2 ex track day bike, with slick tyres, engine mods and Arata full ehaust, put out 200hp+, was very nervous and when the tyres were could it was an ancident waiting to happen, that rear 190/55 just wouldn´t grab the tarmac. Sold it 3 months and many Spooks later.

Ain't Skeerd!

The first dirtbike I rode. It was a Kawi 125, I was 9ish and my dad told me not to touch it! Well you know what that means. I waited maybe a day. The kickstarter whacking me should have been enough, however I am thick-skulled! The saddle was so high I used a pile of bricks for a perch. After looking around for witnesses, I cracked the throttle! My little body was yanked forward at great velocity on 1 wheel, and for a little while I enjoyed the sensation. It was the trees and ground that created the sensations I didn't enjoy. I clipped a branch on the left, fell on the bikes right, and keeping my hand on the throttle, drug myself around for awhile! Nothing broken just scapes and bruises. As for witness my older brother watched the whole thing from the kitchen window. Too busy laughing to stop me. Still ride motorcycle just not scarry dirtbikes.
