I know I did this last year at this time, but it's been a year now so I thought I'd run this again. With Thanksgiving tomorrow, I just wanted to mention some of the things that I am thankful for this past year. I mean, it's not all turkey and cranberry sauce at Grandma's house, so I'll start off this year again.

First off, I'm thankful for improved health this past year, cause any year without another heart attack is a good year! I'm also thankful for the Lord blessing me with the best son anyone could ask for! I'm thankful for having some of my money issues eased up to where I can rest easy at night. Lastly, I'm really thankful for being blessed with great friends and aquaintances, you know who you are! Thanks very much and may all of you and your families have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving, and a spectacular holiday season!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Billy. This was a great post, thanks. I am thankful for my two 4 year old twins Zachary and Emma, they were born 10 weeks premature and we are very lucky they made it and are with us today. My wife for letting me buy toys (07 FZ1) and who lets me hunt and fish when I want to. I too am also thankful for friends, family, and aquaintences, and my brothers and sisters here on the FZ1-Forum. I wish you all the best, Happy Holidays!

Chad

Thankful that I got to live 40 years with my Mom. Her mom died when she was in her 20s. I think of how much I learned from her I'm amazed.

Thankful for the rest of my family. I'm one lucky Tamer.

I'm thankful for all of my friends, virtual and physical (if you know what I mean). I'd probably be nuts without them.

I can't think of anything else. I just realized on Monday that this was Thanksgiving week!

Oh Gosh... there is far too much to be thankful for not only tomorrow but every day. First would be my wife and kids for being the most understanding and caring people of all. Thankful for all my friends because we can still call each other "friends."

But every day, I am very thankful for not having a need. I have wants but I have ALL I need and a whole lot more. Compared to some folks who will not see a dinner, a table setting, a friend, a family member but instead be wandering the streets homeless, cold, hungry, thirsty... I wish I had the means to help so many more people. My wife and I do our part this time of year for these two upcoming holidays. We can't help out many but if we can help out even one then we feel a small sense of accomplishment. This year, she and her fellow workers were able to provide COMPLETE Thanksgiving dinners with all the goodies to include candies, nuts, pies, etc..... for 3 large and one smaller family. This is just her department and there are many departments where she works all supporting many more families. For Christmas, I am helping with a destitute family of 8 who can barely afford the gas to get themselves to and from work for want of putting food on the table for their 6 kids. Co-workers are each taking family members and buying their Christmas. There are 22 families in all that my workplace will be Santa for this year.

Last, I am thankful for you all from Dennis through to the newest member for making this forum such a great and welcoming place. My virtual family! Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving.

I am very thankful for:

- the best wife/partner/friend/companion a man could hope for (even if it did
take me 50 years to find her)
- great parents, though they are long gone. I still miss them every day
- a job to complain about
- a 5 1/2 year old grandson who teaches me about love, patience, unlimited
kindness and acceptance, and to lighten up and laugh more
- a handful of friends who have stuck with me these last 45+ years
- a computer so I can be in touch with folks like the ones here
- an '08 FZ1 that I might get to ride this weekend.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!

I am just going to steal this!

I'm very thankful to have been as fortunate in life as I have been blessed with great friends and family.

This past year has been great to me in the sense of motorcycling. I have meet some great new friends through this forum and hope these new friendships continue to prosper.

I have had one of the greatest years of motorcycling one could hope to have, from Deals Gap trips, Trackdays and my wife becoming a rider. What a great ride this year has been!

I'm thankful that I didn't crash this year, well, so far. :)

That and not having Popeye's for Thanksgiving in Baghdad, as I really hate Popeye's.

- I am thankful for each and every day that is blessed to me!
- My loving wife, she feeds my needs (whatever they may be, not just physical either...as odd as that may sound, a man with MORE than just physical needs!)
- My two beautiful kids, they try so hard, and have been through so much in their young lives! I wouldn't trade them for the world! They teach us as much as we teach them!!
- All my family, and friends who bring a smile to your face when you don't want to!
- Being able to have a job, and feed my family...and give what I can to others that are less fortunate.
- My new FZ1! ...When my '01 was totaled last year, I felt that I didn't know what I was going to do. My wife started shopping for new ones, and we found it...and got it last black Friday (363 days ago!)...she drove with me all the way to Dallas, TX to pick the new baby up...and I love it more than the original one (which I thought was impossible).

And, of course --- Happy Thanksgiving FZ1 Forum folks! :D

Healthy Family, Brother in law in Afgan who comes home next month, being employed for the last 16 years without a missed check even though at times it is VERY stressful..... and of course my FZ1 and CRF.
