I have been using the older version of Tapatalk to view all forums. I hit the upgrade button and they now post adds as if done from members.

I had clicked on it to see what it was about to see if it was ban worthy, but if this is the case, I'm going back to the older version or Web browser only.....

I was taken to a Web site for State Farm insurance.

I was having issues with ads after the upgrade to Tapatalk 4 but it's gone now. Maybe get in touch with the developer to report the issue. You're using the paid version, right?

Before the upgrade, I was using the paid version. It is know all free and contains adds. At the bottom of most posts, and as described within the body of the members posts.
 
I had this issue before as well and I had to upgrade my version of Tapatalk to be ad free. I can't recall exactly what the situation was but I haven't had ads since January now. Let me have a think
 
It is not the adds @ the bottom. It is ads that look like members posts within the time line itself.

I'm going back to the older version, and anyone who wants the 2.0 Android file, PM me.
 
I was one who paid ( 99 cents) a few years back, then they "upgraded" everyone to a "free" version... there was so much backlash from people who literally days before had paid, that they made the older version available for download.... I've never upgraded since (think the paid downloaded version actually removes the auto-update feature).

Of course, as the boards upgrade, I don't have all the functionality, especially mod powers, but for general browsing, the old version works well.
