So I took the bike to a suspension shop to have the preload and clickers adjusted a couple weeks ago. Since I've gained weight (240 lbs) the preload is maxed out front and rear...really surprised me!
The shop got the rear feeling quite good but the front just didn't seem to jive with the rear. They had it set 10 clicks out from full hard on compression, and 15 clicks out for rebound. I put it back to 5 clicks out (OEM setting) for compression and found that 3 clicks out (from full hard) for rebound felt better. This is a Gen II to clarify.
What do most folks here set theirs at? Both OEM and the suspension shop set rebound softer than compression but it feels better (to me) to have it the other way. Am I just nuts?
