This afternoon I filled gas tank and rode 10 mile to a store , quite a warm afternoon , and bike was hot when I parked it up , was gone for 15 min . When I come back I turn on the key ,the tachometer sweeps then I hear a click from the dash and all the lights go out & the tachometer is stuck on 13k nothing is happening ,it's dead apart from a hum from the tank area (sounds like the fuel pump ) , I turn the key off and wait a while , then all is working again the pump still didn't sound right and she did struggle to start , but rode home with out a problem. I'm thinking some sort of vapour lock in the pump and causing a relay to over heat / over load .. any of this possible or feasible ? ,the pump certainly didn't sound right , but seems fine now .any thoughts gents ?
