Still have fairing buzz

So I pulled off the plastic vent, loaded it up with adhesive silicone and I still have a dreadful buzz.
What should I try next?

I had this buzz on my gen 1 I figured out it was the aftermarket windshield. I put a couple rubber spacers on the corners and problem solved....hope this helps

already tried that. when i ride, if I push down lighly on the plastic vent the buzz stops, if I pack it with foam, it should go away, but that's not the route i want to take

I shimmed mine between the windshield and the vent. Don't remember what I used because it was 3 years ago. No buzz since.

Mine does this like crazy!

Wear ear plugs, problem fixed.
