Hello all, I'm a new user looking for a little help. I ride a 2001 FZ1, and know almost nothing about mechanics, but am looking to learn. I just got my bike out of a friend's garage the other night and it started up just fine, had no problem getting it back to my apartment. As I was riding up to help him move the next day, my bike stalled out, and when I tried to start it I got absolutely nothing. I had to drift it into a parking lot and take a look at it. My friend came down and we discovered the battery is in fine working order, but there is something else wrong with the starter. It will click once, but then won't fire at all. We managed to roll start it and get it back to my apartment, but it won't so much as turn over. My friend thought it might be a problem with the starter relay (solenoid) but he wasn't really sure. Any thoughts? I'd be happy to tell you anything else I know, but just don't know where to start.
