I'm wondering what others have their Speedohealers set to for a 1st Gen with 16/47 gearing or 15/44 (which is about the same and more common).
I started with -11.3 and hit it real close. I used two GPS units, one that would record the highest speed and another for just comparing speeds. My speeds were dead on at 60, 70 & 80. At 110 actual, the bike was showing 106. It seems to be off more the faster you go.
After 40 some miles I compared the GPS miles traveled vs what my bike showed. The bike shows a couple miles less than the actual miles traveled. I think to get the miles correct, I'll have to have the amount of error about the same as the stock geared bike. My stock gearing at 60 on the speeometer is 57 actual-GPS. Next time out, I'll set it to -11.0 and see where I am.
Also my rear tire is almost shot, so with a new rear I'll pick up some speed.
Anyone running the same gears? What's your setting??
