So, I'll get pictures up tonight, but here's the deal:
With a little boy on the way, I'm taking a break from riding. Sure, I could keep the gear and just let it all dry-rot in my closet, or I could sell it all and buy new gear when I start riding again.
I'll get pictures up this evening, but just to get things started....
1. $250 Teknic 2 Piece Synthetic Suit - Size 54 Jacket, Size 44 Pants (US Sizing) - This suit is great in both hot and cold weather. There is a liner for the jacket, as well as for the pants. I've ridden in 20 degree (F) temps for 2-3 hours, and I've ridden in 100+ degree weather. Every time I got caught in the rain, it was waterproof, as long as I had the inner flaps buttoned to cover the zipper.
2. $200 Fieldsheer 2 Piece Leather Suit - Jacket Size 52 (With speed hump), Pants Size 42 Short (US Sizing) ... Great suit for those of us in the ... ahem "Husky" department.... Fieldsheer was one of the few companies I could find who made pants in any "Short" sizes. For reference, I'm 5'9", about 240-250 LBS
3. $225 Shoei X-11 Kagayama Helmet - XL, White and Blue tribal - worn 2-3 times. Best helmet I ever owned, hands down. You can feel the venting working from 5mph.
4. $130 Held Akira Gloves - Size 9 - I had a lot of gloves, until I got these. They were the only gloves I ever wore. They're soft but durable. Great wrist padding and riveted palms. CF armor on wrist and knuckles.
5. $50 Oxtar Racing Boots - Size 45 - I bought these used from a forum member to replace my AlpineStars. Be aware, these in size 45 are about a half size bigger than my A*'s were. I'd say these are closer to the 11 range than 10-1/2 that a size 45 normally is.
