Rusted pipe on 2011 FZ1N

Hi all, On my 2011 FZ1N there is a steel pipe in behind the oil filter which is badly rusted, think its to do with the water cooling system, just wondering has anyone had any problems like this, and does it need to be replaced, if so how big a job is this, will there be problems in getting the pipe removed from the engine etc,
