Running rich.

I recently picked up a 2008 FZ1, has a 2 brothers V.a.l.e slip on and a k&n no air box mod and a power commander v it runs pretty good but it smells pretty rich I have not confirmed what map is loaded yet I need to find a mini USB so I can hook it up. I'm hoping that with an updated map that may be it will help? I don't know when the previous owner loaded the original map or if the ever updated it. If anyone can point me in the direction of a map that would better suit that would be great I have always thought of power commander maps as pretty generic and as a gets you close enough to work type of fuel management... I am really considering a ECU flash at this point because I don't find it enjoyable having to dick around with a power commander I'd rather be riding, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Can't make any recommendations on a map but whatever map is loaded is bound to be causing it to run rich as the bike should not run rich without the PC V. Could try a different map or just disconnect it altogether and see how it runs
