My battery died on me on Monday and although it has been OK since I charged it back up I decided to go out and buy a new battery with mine being 3.5 years old, as I didn't want to risk getting stranded again.
I picked up a Yuasa YTZ14S from my local Yamaha dealer, the same model recommended in the owners manual and when I checked it I found the positive terminal on the new battery is on the left whereas the stock battery in my 2008 FZ1 has it on the right.
It doesn't look like the positive cable will reach across to the left hand side of the battery. Anyone else had this issue? On the Yuasa site the battery only comes with a left sided positive terminal connection.
Cheers, Rob
