Rear Hugger Question HELP

Liter Machine

Well-Known Member
I got a 2003 FZ1 SPRC Bumblebee and I run a 190/50/17 rear tire. Does anyone know where I can find/purchase a rear hugger for my Bumblebee that will fit because I like my 190!

Any help would be appreciated

Even if you were to use some spacers to make up for the height difference, I don't think you'll ever be able to get over the width problem. I haven't seen a hugger specifically made for a GenI that had a 190 rear tire. Unless they may have one for a different bike, (Honda, Suzuki), that runs a 190 rear and has a similar swingarm. You may want to PM or call Ivan. I think his GenI had a hugger and was running a 190 rear. Ivan's Performance Products

Update

I just called Ivan and yes he had a OEM Yamaha Hugger on a 190 rear. He did however say that there was a lot of grinding and drilling and tapping the swingarm to make it fit right. Not sure if you want to go through all that, not to mention trying to find an OEM Hugger first.
