Rabbitman - Crash Video - how the hell did that happen?????? Ouch!! You could take that bend at huge speed on the FZ. What type of bike was that - looked like a Harley. Cheers.

2010 Vulcan 900 custom. We changed the exhaust to swept radius pipes, and apparently the turn clearance is lowered on the right side. It was so low that it scraped pipes before it would scrape pegs, so there was no warning, and since pegs fold, and pipes don't, it lightened the rear tire, and we lost traction. It even has my wife thinking that for her next bike, she may get an FZ6R, because being a sport bike, it has a much better turn clearance. Too bad I sold mine....I could have just kept it.

Thanks, still have some soreness in my right side because I bruised my ribs, but I am doing much better. ATGATT, it saved me a lot of pain and agony.

Good thing you were smart enough to be wearing your gear! Shocks me how often I see these young kids hauling ass down the street in a t-shirt and jeans!
