R6 Rear Shock Package $75 shipped

If you are looking to do the R6 rear shock upgrade - here you go!!!
As some of you guys know my bike is down right now and I am scrambling for money. I have decided to sell my R6 rear shock and dogbones.
This was pulled off a 2009 Yamaha R6 with 2,939 miles. The low mileage was one of the main reasons that I bought this. I have to let it go for some cash. :rolleyes3

I work nights so if you reply during the day I will not answer until tonight/ early this morning. I have had some people get impatient with me over this - I will answer as quickly as I can.

I work nights too. That must be why we tend to respond at similar times. That's a great price, but I don't think it's sprung for my massive weight. I'll have to spend over 10x's that to get the Penske shock Eric bought. Someone should jump on this soon. Good luck.

YZF1000 is considerably heavier than R6 so I doubt spring rate and shock valving would be good. Billy keep and eye out for an Ohlins YZF750 shock. I'm pretty sure it works on the YZF1000 as well

What is the distance between the 2 bolts fully extended? Might be interested if it fit the 6R.

Also give me the diameter of the spring... I'll measure mine.

Thanks Bud - Yeah I noticed that we are on at similar hour also. LOL Working nights is different - I have been doing it for about 6 years now and there are parts I like and parts that stink.

Yes - the R6 upgrade is just for the Gen 1. However - I can't sell this one.
and unfortunately I am going to have to end the thread. I always sell on both forums and someone on OA has raised a question that this may be the the wrong shock. :ugh: Well that sucks because I don't want to sell off something that won't work and the guy who I bought this from swore up and down that it was the correct year/model/mileage, etc. Well that is life?
So I'm going to pull the sale just to avoid possibly selling the wrong model.
