r1 or r6 rear shock installation on gen 2 fz1?

new to the forum wondering if any body has tried an r1 or r6 rear shock on gen II fz1 thanks fellas

You can even throw an R1 fork on the front to get the radial brakes.....hope this helps.

I think im glad i didn't see this link before i fited r1 susspension to my 06 ....... i fitted mine on trial and error , drilled my original linkage. im well happy with the result!! ive now made some new link plates.
my ride height is about half inch higher, all i can tell you is when i aproach my favorite corner hard on the front brakes where before i could feel the back end bounce now things are more solid. bike also dives into corners better but i am aso running r1 front end . personnaly im pleased with the results
