While I applaud the engineering that goes into making something like that I have to say that guy is a moron for tooling around on public roads with that thing.

lolup Still looks like a blast, but VERY unsafe on a public road. No one would see something that low to the ground.

I think he needs a better shifter. It looks very unstable at high speeds. He was almost run over at 7:09.

Part of the handling issue is the weight distribution. 125cc kart with a liter engine is quite different. That thing should have been much faster in straight line acceleration I think.

But that cool anyway...

That dude in BC got busted for posting a stupid ride on that bike he posted on Youtube, wonder if this cat will get the hammer to.. None the less, way cool. My bother installed a Honda 350-Four I think it was on a cart. Sold it before he killed him self. I got a picture of that some place.

Knob move riding it around town, but a cool rig nonetheless. My friends and I once put a 500cc liquid cooled 2 stroke twin in to an old Yamaha golf cart once and took turns ripping it up the road (dead end way out in the country) until we blew the motor. I thought that was a wild machine, but that thing looks WAY cooler. A roll cage and harness would make me feel safer, though, and old dead-end roads are a lot different from ripping around town on something like that. A track would be better suited.

This was on the other FZ1 site a while ago, back then he had the cart up for sale. It would be fun to open it up on a proper track like Phillip Island, but not on the street. There are a few other vids of it around too.

Yea, I'd be more afraid of other traffic not seeing me than of the cops...either way a stupid thing to do on public roads.
