question on full exhaust system

Hey guys,
I am almost ready to make a purchase on a full exhaust system I found.
With regards to that, do you still need the O2 sensor in the header portion?
Any information on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Yes and no is the answer. It is needed if you do not want error codes and the system running the bike like a HD. :D That said, some full exhaust systems come with the O2 sensor bypass plug and if it does not, I'd strongly urge you to get a Power Commander that does have one included. You will want the PC regardless to take full advantage of the new exhaust system. Along with the better exhaust flow, consider letting it breathe a bit easier too with an aftermarket air filter and a little bit of modding to the airbox.

I Have a pcv and nog o2 eliminator. No errors.

But I realy think you need a pcv or something else and a dyno tune. Full is exhaust is expensive so it would be a shame not to grasp to full potential

When i installed my pcv it said to disconnect the o2 sensor. So i have put a plug in the exhaust (full akra system) and taken the sensor and wiring out completely. You dont need a o2 sensor unless your running autotune, is that right?
