Wow! Just read this now. So sorry to hear about Joe's crash. I hope he heals up quick. I was fortunate enough to have been one of the guys who stayed with Joe on that trip and he went above and beyond that week with us and never asked for anything in return. My prayers are with him! I wanted to update you all on Joe... Shoulder blade cracked. Three ribs cracked. Lacerated spleen, liver and adrenal cortex gland. He is home and did not require surgery thankfully but he is in a lot of pain, on heavy meds and will be recovering for a couple months. The bike was his new (to him) DRZ-400SM Motard... they are offering to total the bike and pay for all the lost gear but he is unsure of what to do because he thinks it is mostly cosmetic damage. But, he wanted to tell you all that he will be OK and thank you for your thoughts, prayers and well-wishes..... and always remember ATGATT!!!

And I thank you for all the kind words. You are all great people!
