Possible new Airbox mod?

Hi Guys,

Just had an idea for an airbox modification. Wanted your thoughts or knowledge if anyone has tried this before. I was thinking about cutting the standard snorkell off the airbox and adopting a turbo bell mouth to the underside of the airbox. Something like the one in the attached link/pic below. I think this will go someway to smooth out the inlet flows...............what do you guys think? food for thought i guess. I'm very tempted to try it out :)

Been there, done that....

FZ1OA policy is an instant ban for a new member that includes a link in their 1st post....their way of fighting spam and spambots....


As I was told, if you read the rules, you'd have known, but really who reads rules.....? I asked to be unbanned and they eventually allowed me back in, just took a while.....
 
oops! my bad. yep posted link, but only to show people different sizes available for these bell mouth inlets. I will try contact them and try have the ban overturned.

Its about 27 and will probably get warmer. Not a good combination with the New Year Hangover hahaha. Hoping for a cool southerly as well and looking foward to a ride tomorrow when im feeling fresh again :)
