Planning a trip from Florida, up to the Dragon, then home to California

Sport-Touring.Net - Planning my first long trip

Time frame is beginning in mid to late February in Florida. Weather permitting heading north to Tail of the Dragon and the Capital, then heading home to California. I have about 6 weeks to do it. I will be camping. Any route recommendations? Anyone care to join up along the way?

Plan on freezing your butt off and the possibility of getting eaten by a bear. Most things will be closed near camping areas since no one is silly enough to be up there.

SSLT - If you are dead set on driving this route - dress warm and be ready for really cold weather. Also helps to have bigger stones than CJ.
