Agreed but I'm going skiing for a week in Breckenridge/Summit Area. Then I need to get the bike out of storage and into the shop to mount the tires. Besides the weather is still nasty here.
Got them mounted and put on about 2,400 miles. I noticed that I have some cupping toward the center of my front tire. The air pressure is regularly at 34 - 36 psi. I wonder if this is normal?

The rear tire is great, hardly any signs of wear and I keep it at 40 - 42 psi.

False alarm! It looks like this is a Mechelin design to even out the wear by the sipes. My friend thought it was cupping, it isn't.
