Picked up an '06 today

Well, here's my new to me FZ1 I picked up from WOW in Atlanta, GA today. HUGE thanks to crazybiker and hellgate for helping me decide on a Gen II. I may have liked the Gen I, but I REALLY like my Gen II! Put about 250 miles on it this afternoon. I'll be surfing the classifieds for a couple of things I want yet.

New to FZ1's, but not FZ's. I just sold my '07 FZ6 w/ over 42k which I had bought new. Of course I didn't leave it stock. That's now I knew Pete and crazybiker, and maybe some of the rest of y'all...

Actually 998cc. It might make a difference on how much you pay in insurance. Don't give them the extra 2cc!

It looks great. You will enjoy the extra volume of combusted fuel! Enjoy it, make it yours and be safe!
 
Awesome find! One of the best color schemes... Get some T-Rex frame and axle sliders to protect those fairings. Excellent sport touring bike. You will also start noticing little things like various fittings, hoses are much better quality than the FZ6...
