PC III for R1 <=> for FZ1 ?

Hi how are you

My motorcycle is FZ1s '08(europe model), with Akra slip-on, AIS removed.


I have a plan to purchase a used power commander 3,
And I wonder if I can buy one which was made for yzf r1 04-06, not made for fz1.

since used pc3 for r1's are much easy to be found and cheaper than one for fz1, I think I'd better buy one which was made for r1, If those two are each same essencially and can be compatible,

please give me the wisdom

Im by no means an expert on this but I dont believe it will work they have different internals and ecu programming

You can use a PC3 from an R1 2004-2006 with no problems.... the map needs to be for an FZ1.
