oil filter specs

i don't have my clymers manual at this location and want to go and get new oil and a filter. for 1st gens, what are the dimensions/ part number/etc (anything will help) of the oil filter i will need to get? i think i will get mobil 1 oil, seems to be the oil of choice around here, how many quarts will i need to get for the oil change?
