I raise my hat for the effort he put into it. But that was a great way to ruined a perfect kick a$$ vintage bike.

What could possibly be more vintage than a classic Yamaha sports bike paired with quirky Bimota-style engineering and looks? That was a classic pairing all through the 80s and 90s

I don't dig the modern sportbike headlights (R6?), though
 
I don't have a problem with the front suspension, but like others I am not crazy about the headlights either. However, I can see why he went that route...even if you don't like them they stand out. And from the side they just seem to "float" out in front of the bike.
 
Unnecessarily complicated and less road feedback. That type of engineering reduces diving and the change of geometry under hard braking, but traditional fork technology is so advanced now that you don't need an oddball set up.
