New owner/member from Ohio

Hi All,

I just brought home a black '07 FZ1 yesterday. It's my 3rd bike. Last summer I bought a cheap Ninja 500 that wasn't running. I fixed it, road it about 500 miles, then sold it. Then last winter I bought a pretty rough '99 VFR800 and did a bunch of work to it over the winter. I put a couple hundred miles on it and sold it a few months ago when I had a chance to buy a home. I've been wanting another bike ever since and had a chance yesterday.

I paid $5200 at a local dealership yesterday. It had 4200 miles and seems to be stock other than the aftermarket can. I put about 100 miles on yesterday. A friend from church has an R6 and we went to a BBQ and a fireworks show and such. LOVE the bike. So comfortable. So smooth. So fast!

It looks like the windshield is not stock, its much larger than the stock windshield.

Congrats on the new bike!
I think you are really going to enjoy it. I upgraded from a Suzuki SV650 (which I loved but didn't have enough power). This bike has tons of power and it is comfortable! You can burn through traffic on long trips and ride for hours without being sore the next day!

Welcome to the world of FZs. I see that we are very close, I hail from Pataskala. Been having some crazy hot weather perfect for riding. We should go for a ride some time there are some great roads not too far away. My favorite has to be 536

Welcome to the forum! I always like the stripes on that 2007 FZ1. I wish mine had them. Bike is looking good!
