New FZ1S prices are expensive

After a "dealer discount" I got my 2012 FZ1N for $20600 US

Reason for this daylight robbery: 100% Import duty on imported motorcycles.
The big bike market here in India is tiny. Really don't understand who the government is trying to protect.

:deal: I'm amazed that there could be a new bike market in India with import duties in that magnitude!!! :sinister:

And I thought we were hard done by in Australia!
 
Wow, Ireland and India make Australia look cheap. Now that's a first!

Good on you guys for flying the FZ1 flag at those prices, probably still worth every cent though :)
