new fz owner

Well, glad you're ok. To be honest, a CBR600 F4i isn't going to be any better and you'll make the same mistake and end up in the same condition.

If you've never ridden before, take an MSF course and get a cheap Ninja 250. Valentino Rossi grew up riding 50cc scooters with his mates and racing minibikes and he turned out to be the greatest motorcycle racer of all time.

hi guys, I just bought an fz1 @ a steal. paid 2000.00 for an 07 w a ton of mods. and the ex owner sent me to this site, said yall were a bunch of really nice guys. cheers

yeah the guy was selling it cuz and I quote "I dont want to ride a bike a bunch of douche bags ride". Im not sure what that means but, he was in the process of buying a new R1. used my cash as part of his down payment. He had good things to say aboout a majority of the people here. I figured he was just mad or something. its a real bad ass bike. He said he had done most of the mods himself. it has a two brothers exhaust, pc3 and some other stuff but I was drooling to ride that bike.:woot:

well, it was a short run. I guess I shouldve started on a smaller bike. It was a little wet the other morning and I rode to work. I went around ta corner and twisted the throttle and the back end sketched out on me and I dropped the bike. thank God for frame sliders. The ambulance that responded was being operated by a rider, Stormsmack, he sold me the bike too. on the way to the hospital we had time to talk and thats when I came clean about me never riding before. He was kinda pissed that I lied to him. funny thing was, he insisted that I sell the bike back to him and told me he would help me find a smaller bike. I have my eye on a cbr600f4i. he hadnt taken the bike off his insurance yet so he'll get it fixed. guess I shouldve listen to my friends.
well, I have some roadrash, a sprained ankle and a nice bump on my head. I was wearing my gear, but just had jeans on. Thanks for having me on your forum. and I think yall didnt give dude a fair shake, if someone said something against my wife I wouldve defended her too. peace out.

I don't know the back story with this other guy, but...

I'm calling troll.... :smokin2: Either the guy himself or one of his buddies.

I don't know exactly what happened either. This stormsmack guy had an e-fight with someone else in a thread that no longest exists I guess.

well Dustin, I have taken the msf course, im a very accomplished rider. It was just a little misty and i was on a new to me bike. so, Im still looking @ the f4. back story is some folks here want to force their way of thinking on someone else. and if you dont agree w the site elders you get run. even if theres never been any kind of issues. I'll tell you this, if someone told me I dont care about my wife or her safety I would tell them to F off too. plain and simple. but they pulled the thread off so no one would be able to make their own decisions about the "e-fight". oh and I just got off the phone w the dealership, the f4 is mine.

oh and if the guy reads this that stormsmack was gonna give his turn signals to reads this, hmu.

Then you say you're an accomplished rider? Lol. This has stormsmack written all over it.

Ah, this troll thread is making more sense now. Too bad for him this is a private forum where people are not bound or obligated to deal with another person's bullshit. Threads get closed because they violate the rules everyone agrees to when they register here.

Good luck with your next bike & I hope it lasts a bit longer than 5 minutes this time. Happy riding! If you need tips, I'm sure an expert rider like stormsmack can teach you how to do 170 while dragging orphans and blind nuns behind you.:)

Well this thread took an interesting turn, I didn't know stormsmack sold his bike, I'm kinda confused too but at least the story was entertaining. Glad your relatively ok, but I remember the thread that is being referenced it became useless because all it turned into was a member vs member bashing thread

Dang! Glad it was not more serious than that! I used to have a CBR600F4i. I loved that bike. Still has plenty of power.

FZ1 is a handful in the wet. She'll bite you if you let your guard down.

As for all the drama, I try to keep it out of my life, but I am certainly not above watching someone else's with a keen interest. It's like a soap opera where real feelings are at stake.

i just love how some of you guys are such great detectives. you know everything. wow. some of you guys gave him a bashing and when he bashed back you got your panties in a wad. grown ass men. Ive read the post, screen shots work well. and again if someone questioned my care about my wife I'd tell him to f off too. as would most of you. it just seems that someone here is jacked up "forum power" and banned him. then VA rider banned him cuz of what was said on another forum not related to this one? wow, he could care less and now he has a brand new R1 and his fz. best of both worlds. and I personally could care less if you like me, him or santa freekin clause. hes a cool guy and I'll share the road w him anytime. so I guess I'll be banned to for association. get a life, forum gods.
