Hi,
I am a new owner of a used FZ1, I use to ride 900Z1, FJ1100, XS1100 and my most recent Roadstar 1700..talk about torque!.
I neede something lighter, quieter, and smoother so I got the FZ1. I looked at the ZX14 but I cannot even think that fast anymore let alone pick up a 500+LB machine if I drop it...yea I'm getting old been riding since 1977.
I reviewed alot of tech stuff on this site before I bought the bike as I was a Heavy Helicopter Mech for 16 years I like to do my own work.
Well thanks for making a community here for us new guys to join.

Watch out for our crazy man Motogiro on a SV1000, he's an animal-right Cliff?

J/K he's a great guy who will post up some Socal rides sometimes.
 
Welcome to the forum! I bounce over here from the FZ6 sister site once in a while and we like to rides up to Idyllwild every once in a while passing through Hemet. We boogie from Temecula on Sage Rd. to Hemet the on up to Idy and down the 243 to Banning. Lunch is always at the Gnome. Hiope we get to hook up! :cowboy:
