Need help taking out rear fender/mudguard

Hello,

I keep going online but I am getting very vague instructions on how to do this. I am installing integrated tail lights and a side license plate bracket and would like to take that big thing on the back of my bike out for a more tidy and clean look.

I am having trouble knowing what bolts/screws to take off as well as where the wires go.

Would appreciate any input.

There are four bolts that hold the tail section onto the bike, they are underneath the pillion seat. You can only access these bolts from the top to remove them.

There are six wires going to the tail/fender 2 for each indicator and 2 for the number plate light.
