Need Help: Tail light/ signals

Apparently, I fail miserably at the search function, so here goes:

I need to replace my brake/tail light assembly. Where do I go to find that sort of stuff. I currently have (and forgive me, 'cause I don't know the technical lingo" what looks like an integrated brake/tail light setup under the seat. The fender has been removed. I like the current set up, but it isn't nearly enough communication of intention for the people who ride behind me.

What sort of options are there, and where do I look.

The only pic I could find is a rather unflattering one of me, but at least you can look at my bike's rear and (I hope) see what I am talking about.

The taillight you have is in fact an integrated taillight. There are a few options, you could replace it with the same one or you can go with the clear version which may be a bit brighter.

Finally you could put the stock one back on the bike and re-install some blinkers, guess it all depends on how much work you want to do and how much money you want to spend.

Hey Ally - the way I found these was to Google "Motorcycle Integrated Taillights".
Tons of options so I thought I would post a few:

The above link will allow you to check out a bunch of ideas to get an idea of where to start. Then you will have a good direction.

One key word I would focus on is LED Turn Signals. This will MAKE A HUGE difference as it may be the performance upgrade that you are looking for.

You have a Gen 1 right?

Even the 01 R1 seems like it may fit our bikes. NOT sure about that but it may be worth a phone call.

Find someone selling their stock tail light and buy some LED signals. You should be able to find a stock tail light cheap. If I still had mine, I'd give it to you.
