Need Advice Please - GYT-R Low Handlebar Mounts

I'm considering the GYT-R Low Handlebar Mounts for my 1st Gen. According to Yamaha it will drop the bar one inch. Has anyone here installed this, and was the one inch drop significant enough?

I replaced the handle bar with a one inch lower with less pullback these offer a much more comfortable wrist position. to answer your question a one inch lower riser will fit fine without hitting the gas tank but you'll still have the stock handle bar which is the real problem due to its excessive pullback.
