Naked conversion project finally completed!

Last Friday my big “2012-2013 Naked Conversion Project” was officially completed when Biltilsynet (Norwegian DMV) actually – and unbelieveably- approved my 2007 FZ1-S with every single mod. :shine:

Since I’m basically an amateur when it comes to MC customization, the learning curve has been steep. But I’m really satisfied with the result. The following changes were made:

-Conversion to N-tail
-Painted handlebar
-Shin Yo round headlight (a story of its own)
-Xenolen Invader LED bar-end indicators
-Evotech radiator guard
-Custom wiring for headlight/multifunction meter/indicators and extra power supply circuit
-Daytona heated grips
-Magazi mirrors
-Modified (drilled/tapped) right brake handle assembly in order to fit right-hand mirror
-Akrapovic Carbon FZ1 road legal slip-on
-Custom made instrument bracket for multifunction meter
-Forks wrapped in shiny black adhesive PVC

Job well done! Some great little touches there. Indicators on the bar ends are particularly cool. Headlight is a great old meets new touch, but it works. Looks good.
