My new dirt bike!

Had one of these growing up, it was actually my first street legal machine in my teens, Picked this up on Craigslist a 1980 Yamaha XT 250 with 1076 original miles...it was like getting aquainted with an old friend again..:tup:

Back in the 80's a friend of mine Went to the Yamaha dealer to test drive a
XT500. He made the cover of the local paper as he was test driving it while sitting on it backwords and riding a wheelie down main street.
Oh and he did buy the bike. lol

Many people now are buying streetable dirt bikes so they do not have to trailer anything. That would be my choice too because it keeps investment to a minimum, although a genuine off-road bike can have more edge. However, thanks to technology the gap between the two is closing or non-existant among some brands.
