Mt Lemmon AZ (Catalina Mntns)

Last week I decided a nice long stress therapy ride was in order. was on the road for 6 hours, 260 miles RT. Started in SE Phoenix at ~105F and went Southeast thru Tucson to Mt Lemmon which lies at ~8500 feet elevation. The 25 mile road up the mountain was amazing, cool, light traffic.

Mt. Lemmon is an amazing piece of road. The scenery, and the road quality make it so. To bad the pie shop isn't open anymore at the top. It was a great way to get ready for the ride down. Did you do any hiking while you were up there?
