Modded Evotech RFE with K&S Plate Light

For those interested in the Evotech RFE but need more out of the plate light look no further! I am stoked with the K&S Plate light..ebay link:

All I needed to do was drill the LED light hole in the Evotech a little more than 3/8"..used a file to smoothen and K&S fit right in. I also extended the wiring as it was about 8 inches too short..otherwise easy mod and I couldn't be happier.. looks sleek installed and offers PLENTY of light ;)

Took a few shots of the parts and install...

Plate ID photoshopped a bit but lighting effect preserved:

Looks good! That's a tremendous improvement over the wimpy LED that Evotech includes with their FE kit. I may just go for it :)
 
I have to stop being cheap and go buy an actual FE kit! ;) I've hacked my hacked stock fender even more now. It will be a while before I mount it and get pics though.
