im considering buying givi e21 sidecases used....is there a sidecase mount for the gen II fz1s?

There are side racks for the Gen 2, the part number is PLX359. The E21 cases would not be compatible with them, they only support the V35 cases as they are a specific shape for them.

I was bummed out when I discovered this as I use E21 cases. They were compatible with my Givi racks for my Gen 1, but not the Gen 2.

hey dustin, since it sounds like you've done side cases on both gen1 and 2, do you know if the racks for gen1 use or replace the grab rails? if not, how do they actually attach?

Your best bet for a Gen 1 are the SW Motech racks. The come off so the bike looks good when the bags are off.
