I feel this way about my fz, and also the 2004 sv I had before it.

I used to obsess over keeping my cars clean too. Getting into riding in '08 has kind of cleared that up. I am glad too, it is way easier to keep up with the bikes! --MW

Its pretty hard to find a good example of these bikes sometimes. too many people abuse them and don't know how to maintain them..

hi.. I have an 06 fz1 with 100,00 km on it. still runs like a dream, serviced every 5000 and the only problem ive had, 1000 km ago the stato fell to pieces, all the magnets came off. put a new one in and no problems.. these bikes unless your riding on the limiter all the time should easily do 250,000 300,000.. hard to kill.
