I'm the proud owner of the following 2010:

I traded my 2009 ST1300 ("Ruby"). Since I also have an FZ6 ("Sarah")--shown too below, and it's set up for touring, I thought I could have a seriously fun backpack bike. I'll use the 6 primarily for taking me and my gear to defensive pistol matches and the 1 when I don't need the space.

So long, Ruby!

And the little sister all toured up:

Congrats on the new bike.
I have never driven an ST1300. Was the seat as comfortable as it looks?

Like most bikes it was just comfortable for shorter rides. I did however buy a gel pad from cycle gear and it made all the difference. On my first ride with it I went 200 miles without stopping. Of course the bike will do close to 300 on 7.7 gallons. I like the Gel pad because I can move it from bike to bike. The main issue I had with the stock seat was it was very easy to slide forward and back on that seat.

Congrats! The first time I was the red bike with the gold forks, I did not like it. To me it looked like a big Christmas ornament. But as time went by, it grew on me and now I think it is a great combination. Well done!

That's who I bought my Tenere from, nice folks there. Did they still have the red FZ with the mods for sale?

Yes they do. Considered it myself. It had minor crate damage which is why the new pipe and led turn signals and FE kit. Small blemish on right side of frame just under the tank where they touched it up. Based on conversation with who I think is the owner he has less in it but then the adds. You can get it for $8400ish.
