leaking fz

Hello all, my just under 2 year old and 24 thousand mile fz1 has started weeping oil from where the crancases are joined just at the rear of the front sprocket. Has anyone on here encountered such a problem with there bikes. thanks S..

I had a similar problem on my bike recently, turned out to be the shift shaft cover (very close to countershaft sprocket). I'm not sure if Gen 2's but apparently this is common on Gen 1's. Mine is leaking from the crankcase i will try and get a pic up, thakfully though the bike is still under warranty.

Thats good news (the warranty)if the motor has to be pulled ,,

you have certainly clocked up some miles
