Woohoo, I can now do it legally!!! Wonder if they will issue fines or warnings between now & then?

Cool, it's been legal here in NSW for a while now. To be quite honest a lot of us were already doing it, legal or not.

It was never not legal here, but they could pick you up on other laws (even the police bikes filtered to the front), but now they have changed the wording to make it legal.

It was always a grey area here, have lane split for as long as I've being riding, but now there are two prerequisites, under 30k/ph and when its safe to do so and unfortunately these two can be open to interpretation by sapol, which could lead to fines of $263 plus points, hope that common sense prevails
