Have to agree, when parked beside each other the black one is always the fastest.

of course, with some added white retro side squares as in the Camel Yamaha it would be almost as fast as the black one. But then if the rider of the black one has a matte black helmet , black leathers , and a mirror shield, there's nothing in the world that beats that.

Agree. I have a black, and HATE black but I love it when it shines with just a little wax. I use Black Magic wet look wax, it does wonders for a cheap wax. Oh well I'm changing my FZ color to Vivid Orange this winter, can't do it now during riding season :nono:

wow vivid orange! I'd love that! I think I'd do some kind of orange with black. That's got to look faster than the plain black

It has to be black for me. Just Ceramic coated the headers and I am well pleased with the results.

That turned out great! My ceramic coated headers have more a flat finish than yours. I guess it depends on the brand and process that they use...

I actually did this myself using Tech-Line Satin Black. Had the pipes sand blasted and applied the coating with an airbrush. Cant believe how easy it was to put on.
