July 8, 2011 - SCION drag-n-brag @ Texas Motor Speedway

This is scheduled throughout the month of July and I think it's worth a look because it's a chance to drag race at Texas Motor Speedway. That by itself is cool but combined with the price - it looks pretty good.

Here is the C/P:

Texas Motor Speedway will convert pit lane on the 1.5-mile oval into a 1/8-mile drag strip for the SCION drag-n-brag, an ongoing initiative to help curtail illegal street racing in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and provide a safer environment for racing enthusiasts. The weekly entry fee to compete in SCION drag-n-brag is $20 and $15 for “Show & Shine.” SCION drag-n-brag is open to the general public and tickets for the infield/grandstand is $7. Parking is free in front of Gate 3 for the grandstands or the Express Lot for easier access to the infield. Coolers are allowed in the grandstands. For more information, please click here.
