Well not often am i impressed as usally bin there done that - but every now and then a pearl of wisdom prod's me into life lol
Having seen Craigs( 7vwh) blacked out covers (nice to see an old d70 producing a nice photo) i thought i'd give it a go but took it a bit further
Following craigs pointers i scotched brited all the alloy and tag raged down ready for primer
Using B&Q primer sprayed inside and out and let dry
Then on craigs referral plasti-kote fast dry enamel 101SF FLAT BLACK again from B&Q
This cover mega quick and gives a nice finish
gonna let these harden over night befor a clear coat
luke
Ps B&Q is a do-it-yourself type hardware store
