Is this guy for real???

Come on guys its only got 411 miles on it thats a steal. I'm calling him tomorrow ................... to tell him I bought a brand new 08 for $7.4k WTF is this guy and his kid thinking. I hope it doesn't sell cause some poor newb is going to get screwed by this guy

does 80 in first....but sources tell me that it has been verified from others, no oil change, but it is the helmets that have steered me away from this gem.....

Guess I'll just have to limp along on my Gen I :shame:

as ridiculous as this all is... this is what we really want to see though....

think about it... if everyone starts selling their FZ's at $2k over list price... that effectively raises the value of our bikes....

Hopefully when someone goes to buy any vehicle, they look at NADA or Kelly BB before just buying something as expensive as a car or motorcycle, if they don't they probably can afford whatever they pay or they don't know these resources exist. Here is a link from a bike in my local area quite a bit lower, a year newer and about 800 more miles: 2007 Yamaha FZ1

I have compassion for the guy who obviously doesn't have a clue about the motorcycle market. He probably asked the person who bought it what he had to lay out for it and based his assumption on that. He doesn't have a clue about depreciation either. This isn't an isolated case though. I just came from a place that had the "White Pages" which are free papers full of all kinds of vehicles and other things people are trying to sell. It was interesting to see the wide difference in price on the same item between the people who really need to unload something compared to someone who isn't in any hurry and thinks they have the finest example of the item in the world. And those people usually end up keeping it until no one wants it.

Rather high price....

I bought my 2007 two weeks ago with just 3200 miles on it is pristine condition for $4,900. I mean not a single flaw and on the black bikes it is easy to spot flaws. $8500 sounds a bit rich....
