Is an O2 eliminator needed with a pcIII

Bike that I'm going to view today has a pc3 but not sure if it has a O2 eliminator, so not sure if I need one or not I have searched but it brings up soooomany threads about them but not relating to what I want to know

Cheers

Someone correct me if I'm mistaken.

Do you want to have the O
2 sensor disabled if you're doing a dyno tune?
Would the sensor just have the bike trying to correct air/fuel mix while you're trying to change it with the PC-III or PC-V?

or

Do you want to leave it connected and tune the bike with it?

Thanks,
Steve

In a word, yes and no. Yes you need to disconnect it so you don't run closed loop in the EPA area. No, you can disconnect it and may or may not have an error code. Regardless you don't want the O2 Sensor working, otherwise it will fight with the PC3 and the ECU.
