Introducing the Marthy FZ1 Midship Exhaust!

That looks killer! I have a stock header lying around but it will be a PITA to ship. How much is he charging for it?

To help with shipping, you can cut the cat off. It cost me about $23 to ship to him. Not too bad. We are going to be working on a map for the FZ1, I have his autotune, and he is going to send me his LCD screen when he gets that back.

Not sure, since mine was the prototype, he may charge more depending on how much he learned while doing it. I would suggest sending him a pm or an email. Here is his site:

Hey everyone. Thanks for all the good words. I did the exhaust in a rush just before I left for Italy. Glad it work fine... not easy without the FZ1 in hand.

I need to build a jig to cut the headers at the right spot. That one was a one off but if the demand is there...

We been to find a can that fit there without having to cut it. Too much work for what I can charge and if I damage the can in the process...

I have a short can in the work. Marthy Carbon Fiber slip-on. I have pic on the PC at home (still at JFK)

Hi guys, I would greatly appreciate any info on further developments with that Map. I have been tweaking other maps but just can't seem to get it just right.
Thanks.:nerd:

Sure. I need to finalize the map for the FZ8 exhaust first. Once that done we will do the one for this exhaust. Now the map will be tune for the stock ECU or whatever other tune Chad has.

Going to Italy was a blast but put me behind in few personal project. Should get everything done by the end of this month.

Going to Italy is a pretty good reason to be behind on things. No rush let me know how things progress. If you need any other examples for where to cut the header, should you choose to pursue this, let me know. I cut mine to get my shorty Akrapovic to fit. Thanks.

Sure we can work something out. A bit busy this month but I will get at it. Love Italy. My second year doing the 1000 Miglia rally classic. Hope to go again next year. I prep the blue car. 56 Ferrrari Tour de France. I drove the chase/support car with the tools and spare parts. Best way to explain it is imagine riding the Dragon for 700 of the 1000 miles. Freaking awesome!!!

at my opinion i would never never damage that piece of art which called arrow headers

The part he would be modifying would be under the bike. You still would get to see those great looking pipes on the front of the bike. And you would also be able to see the swing arm.

If he could do this with a set of arrow header I would absolutely have it done. My only concern is without a db killer in how loud is it. Is it pissing your neighbors off loud?
