Inoveli - A new way to throttle?

Caught this today and thought I would share. Personaly I think its a great concept. Its a better design for comfort and control, it would take some getting used to though. This is already the throttle method for many quads and most personal watercraft.

Inoveli, the new accelerator handle system for ATV, motorbike, scooter, watercraft ...

I agree.... Anyone who has ridden a 4 wheeler for a 8 hour day can attest to this.

I understand the idea behind it, but yeah thumb throttles suck after long use, and holding in one position for a while would be a pain.

Plus I love my throttle lock and more importantly I love twisting the throttle

I agree, I don't like thumb throttles.

The way they have this throttle designed also looks like it would drag on your thumb as well a good bit just like the more traditional thumb throttle. It looks like it has more contact which helps.. but it definitely doesn't look more comfortable then twisting mine!

Everyone I know switches their thumb throttle for a twist throttle or a trigger throttle.

Thumb throttles are great for getting big air and having your right hand to hold on but thats about it

Could be good for burnouts and stunting. May also be good on scooters and around town but I agree it wouldn't be great for long distance riding.

I think I remember Mick Doohan using a thumb Brake for a while after a bad crash that broke his hand. He may have had a thumb throttle as well for a while, I can't remember exactly. Might be okay for a 26 Lap Race but can't see using it for long excursions.
